The beginning of our trip!

It was a long drive! We left out Sunday night after church at 9 pm. It was a long drive and we took turns. We went through 5 states to get here. We made it to Gatlinburg, TN at around 10 am, and it is soo beautiful! I have never been to Tennessee so seeing the mountains and snow are very exciting!!! We decided to come up here because it is our first anniversary!! Our church's youth group came also, and went a couple places yesterday. We took it easy our first day because we were lacking sleep. We went to Bass Pro Shop (1st time, very cool), Knife Works (also very cool), and to the Coach store. My dear sweet husband bought me a purse, but he couldn't find the knife that he wants for skinning animals. We went eat a Cherokee grill and both got really interesting salads. Our waitress was from Germany and had a very strange accent. I was soo exhausted that after we left Bass Pro, I passed out in the truck. When I opened my eyes and saw that we were in the front of the Coach store, I immediately perked up.. haha. After a night of rest, I am soo ready to go and check everything out. We are going to the Wonderworks upside down house today. We are also going check out the youth group's cabin in the mountains which is way way waaaay up there, so that will be exciting and scary!
